THE TOXICITY KILLS US LITTLE BY LITTLE!..  IN WHICH PRODUCTS WE FOUND THEM?

One hundred twenty-seven countries adopted a treaty banning the 12 POPs (Persistent organic pollutants) which are among the most toxic = dioxins and furans.  http://www.lalibre.be/actu/international/article/23167/les-douze-salopards-definitivement-bannis.html

These products can cause:

  • Cancers
  • A waning immunity
  • A decline in male fertility.

10% of health problems from chemicals are caused by ingestion.

90% are caused by the inhalation of vapors and absorption of particles.

Some products release contaminants into the air right away, others do so gradually over a period of time.  These contaminants are found in:

1) Personal care products : 2983 chemicals found used in these products:

  • 884 are toxic
  • 146 cause tumors (↑cancers = 1 case /8000 in 1901 and 1 / 3 in 2007)
  • 218 cause reproductive complications (↑infertilecouples)
  • 314 cause biological mutations (↑geneticdiseases)
  • 376 cause skin and eye irritations (↑Skin infections = Eczema, psoriasis)

A) The “Dirty dozen” risk of cancer-producing with Consumer products like: ( Press Release September 21, 1995: The National Cancer Prevention Coalition)

  • Johnson & Johnson Baby powder with Talc
  • Crest Tartar Control tooth paste (lumps remove tooth enamel)
  • Lysol Disinfectant
  • AjaxCleanser
  • Clairol Nice‘n Easy Hair Color
  • V05 Hair Conditioner.

B) Products such as: shampoo / hair styling / hair spray / body soaps / makeup / creams = particle absorption through the skin can cause:

  • Dizziness
  • Nausea
  • Allergic reactions
  • Eye irritation
  • Skin Irritations
  • Respiratory tract irritations
  • Cancer.

2) Household Products:

A) The following products are just a few, that are so toxic that they should be disposed of in a toxic waste dump:

  • Floor care products
  • Furniture polish
  • Window cleaners
  • Bug spray
  • Nail polish remover
  • Liquid dish soap (Most brand of liquid dish contain formaldehyde and ammonia)

B) Household bleaches which claim to disinfect are classified as pesticides under the Federal Hazardous Substances Act.  Inadvertently mixing bleach with other cleaners that contain ammonia produces a toxic: Chloramin gas = These toxic gases can cause:

  • Loss of voice
  • Feeling of burning
  • Feeling of suffocation
  • Death.

C) Most of Air Freshners = Formaldehyde  - du phenol – pesticides + fragrances.

D) Fabric Softeners= Alpha-terpineol - limonene -chloroform – Ethyl acetate and pentane + fragrances. These chemicals are even more dangerous when heated in your dryer and most companies that produce these fabric softeners add fragrances to them which make them even more toxic. (Environmental Health Network)

E) Bleach is being linked to increase of:

  • 26 % ↑ in breast cancersince1982 = Laundry detergents, household cleaners and pesticides
  • 600% ↑ of Asthma= Household cleaners and cosmetics as triggers.
  • 28%  ↑ de du cancer infantiledepuis l’ajout des pesticides dans les produits ménagers.
  • Since 1977 the rate of cancer among American children has been steadily rising at a rate of nearly 1% each year.
  • 42% ↑ of Asthma: (29% for men and 82% women). Center for Disease Control
  • 118% ↑ Asthma death in children and young people, between 1980 and 1993.
  • Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD)in adults and children is also rising: 1993 = 4.5 M children took the drug Ritalin. 1998 = 11.4 M children were being drugged with this powerful Class-2 narcotic. (1998)
  • The average child visits the doctor 23 times in the 1st 4 years of life, with the most common complaint being respiratory ailment.
  • Most disturbing – until a child is approximately 13 months of age, they have virtually no ability to fight the biological and neurological effects of toxic chemicals.

3) Products which require that only the most EXTREMELY toxic substances must contain a warning label.  Labels that say the following should be removed from your house immediately:

  • « Corrosive - Rinse from skin immediately »
  • « Harmful or fatal if swallowed »
  • « Call physician immediately »
  • « Caution » (slightly toxic) means that over one ounce needed to one ounce needed to kill an average person.
  • « Caution » (Moderately toxic) means that one teaspoon to one ounce needed to kill an average person
  • « Danger – Poison! » means that a few drops to one teaspoon needed to kill an average person.

Consumer Product Safety Commission reports that 150 chemicals found in the home have been connected to:

  • Allergies
  • Birth defects
  • Cancer
  • Psychological disorders.

4)  Consumer productscontain:

  • The toxic products are deteriorating badly and find themselves traveling sometimes thousands of miles from their place of production. They are stored in the fatty tissues of fish and marine mammals
  • Formaldehyde is a highly toxic substance (often used for food preservation)= 1 / 5 people are sensitive and the Formaldehyde comes in several names:

Formalin, Methanol, Methyl Aldehyde, Methylene Oxide, Oxymethylene, Bfv, Fannoform, Formol, Fyde Karsan, Methaldehyde, Formalith, Methylene Glycol, Ivalon, Oxomethane, Formalin 40, Formic Aldehyde, Hoch,  Paraform, Lysoform, Morbocid, Triosane and Polyoxmethylene.

Based on this information, you might want to consider alternative solutions to better your surrounding environment and improve your health.

The leading cause of cancer is caused by inflammation of toxicity in the air we breathe, the food we eat and the objects we touch.
